Isabel Seiffert

Born in the last years of the GDR, Isabel Seiffert (*1986) grew up amid layered and shifting realities, shaped by a multitude of references and visual heritages, and an enduring sense of in-betweenness that informs her visual language, practice, and pedagogy.
With the launch of Migrant Journal in 2016, Isabel Seiffert and Christoph Miler established their collaborative design practice, OFFSHORE. Their work spans editorial design, typography, visual identities, image-making, and research-oriented visual inquiries, and has been enriched through their time as artists in residence at the Jan van Eyck Academie and La Becque.
Isabel lives in Zurich and is a professor of Communication Design and Visual Literacy at the University of the Arts Karlsruhe in Germany.
