Burn & Broad

New York

Design and Animation studio

Burn & Broad is a New York-based design and animation studio founded by Vicente García Morillo and Eugene Serebrennikov. Their creative partnership began over a decade ago, bridging continents and languages to forge a singular artistic voice. Morillo – an award-winning artist and valedictorian of the Fine Arts University of Seville – first caught the attention of Serebrennikov, a former Nike Art Director, through his work online. Together, they left behind their corporate careers to launch Burn & Broad, building a studio known for visually impactful work for clients such as Nike, J. Cole, and Loewe.

In parallel, they founded Another Day – their art studio and experimental space dedicated to personal, self-initiated work, free from the constraints of commercial projects. It serves as a space to explore ideas that exist outside the realm of brand briefs, blending artistic freedom with a shared desire to create something meaningful.

Their latest project under Another Day, One World Flag, reimagines the purpose of flags – not as symbols of separation, but as a universal emblem of unity. The project transcends borders, celebrating the deep interconnection of everyone and everything. Presented as both an immersive art installation and a visually striking short film, it merges textile art with live-action and animation to create a powerful narrative. Through this fusion of mediums, Morillo and Serebrennikov invite audiences to question the concept of invisible borders and reflect on what it means to belong. One World Flag continues their pursuit of art that not only provokes thought and stirs emotion, but dares to imagine a world without boundaries.
