Aurélia de Azambuja is a senior designer at Base Brussels known for bringing clarity, conceptual rigor, and a generous dose of curiosity (and laughter) to every project. Originally from Paris, her path from the Mediterranean to New York to Brussels has shaped a design approach that’s both intuitive and deeply strategic. Aurélia leads with vision — guiding teams of writers, illustrators, and art directors to craft brand narratives rich in nuance and meaning. She’s collaborated with culturally rooted and globally recognized clients including Caudalie, Maison Dandoy, Institut Français de la Mode, and Théâtre du Châtelet. Always guided by the belief that design is a tool for change, she challenges herself and her team to think boldly and question often.

Bruce Vansteenwinkel is a senior designer at Base Brussels whose work blends sharp precision with heart, humor, and a people-first mindset. With a foundation in brand design and a growing interest in scenography and spatial design, Bruce draws on everyday life to shape brand experiences that spark conversation and resonate across identities. Previously at Base New York, he has collaborated with global and cultural names like Apple, HBO Max, Kanal Centre Pompidou, La Monnaie Opera, and Essentiel Antwerp. He also teaches identity design at LUCA School of Arts and coordinates the scenography and spatial design program at Thomas More.
