TOM KUNTZ is a filmmaker working in a number of mediums, including commercials, music videos, and shorts.

Known for his unique brand of visual humor, Mr. Kuntz has helmed numerous memorable ads for brands such as Apple, Old Spice, DirecTV, Heineken, Guinness, Bacardi, Cadbury’s, Volkswagen, Skittles, and many, many others.

For more than a decade, he has consistently ranked among the most decorated commercial directors in the world, and has received literally every top industry honor, including the Grand Prix at the Cannes Advertising film festival, an EMMY, and the highly coveted BLACK PENCIL at the British D&AD awards.

A Six-time Director’s Guild of America nominee for ‘Commercial Director of the Year, Kuntz won the award in 2010.

In addition to his commercial success, Mr. Kuntz is also the creative force behind lauded music videos for bands such as MGMT, LCD SOUNDSYSTEM, THE AVALANCHES, and ELECTRIC SIX.

Kuntz has also created a series of Art installations, which have been shown at the Sydney Opera House and the Sonos Gallery in Los Angeles. The two exhibitions, both entitled “BUGS,” feature six animated, music-generating bugs who perform an ever-changing musical performance.

Kuntz is also an ambitious record collector, and is actively involved in the world of underground dance music under the moniker PINCHY DON. He is the creator of the mixtape website Pinchyandfriends.com and releases records on his label P&F RECORDINGS. He also hosts a monthly radio show on Dublab.com entitled “In the Shade of the Palm with Pinchy Don.”
